Beetroot is looking for the person who will develop the strategic direction and lead the Solutions Unit to it, as well as being a spokesperson for the team both with internal and external stakeholders.
Our Solutions Unit started with a small WordPress team back in the day and grew into a progressive, well-structured, and self-managed team of more than 50 people already. It continues to grow and now we are looking for Operations Coordinator to help us to achieve new heights in the WordPress Development direction. In this role you’ll have an opportunity to work with the WP team: process automation, setting strategy, being a change facilitator, and Beetroot in a wider sense.
— Strategic planning for the team, transforming Beetroot’s goals and strategies into the team-level goals
— Acting as a leader for the team, coaching and mentoring the team through all arising challenges to make sure the goals are achieved
— Being a change agent, suggesting and leading new initiatives, and facilitating the change management process
— Identifying and assessing strategic and operational challenges to make sure the operational excellence is consistent
— Owning efficiency & financial reporting and forecasting for the team
— Designing and tracking relevant KPIs for the team, tracking team OKRs progress.
— Design and continually improve the project management process in the team
— Documenting and maintaining processes and best practices for the team.
— Being a spokesperson for the team to foster communication and collaboration with other teams and senior leadership
What we’re looking for:
— 3+ years of experience running Agile software development and/or cross-functional teams
— Good understanding of SDLC and web development practices
— Successful experience with operating in complex organizations and driving initiatives spanning multiple functional areas
— Being a strategic thinker and proactive problem solver with the ability to transform high-level strategic goals into actionable plans
— Proven record of leading and effectuating change without authority
— Being comfortable with navigating ambiguity and make data-driven decisions whenever possible
— Advanced leadership and organizational skills
— Experience with implementing and sustaining policies, procedures and best practices
— Ability to think, act and communicate clearly with your team members and stakeholders across the company
— Servant-leader mindset
— English proficiency — Upper-intermediate or higher
— You love borsch!
— Experience with financial management, understanding P&L basics
— Project management or delivery management background
— Familiarity with Lean concepts
