We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join a Zurich-based, exciting client in Fintech.

We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join our team that builds an innovative cloud-based Swiss P2P lending platform connecting credit seekers with investors. You will work and communicate directly with the development team on the client’s side.

Responsibilities:
— Develop new services/microservices with NodeJS and Typescript, and Java/Kotlin
— Take over serverless based infrastructure setup and management on AWS, including Lambdas, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, S3, SQS, SNS, etc.
— Manage and enhance the terraform based CI/CD setup of our services and design and implement tools to automate operational aspects of the build and deployment infrastructure

What we’re looking for
— 3+ years of software development experience
— Experience with software development using NodeJS and ideally TypeScript developing APIs
Java/Scala/Kotlin or other strictly typed language(s).
— Experience with relational (i.e. PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (i.e. DynamoDB) databases
— Experience with Cloud based infrastructure
— Level of English — upper-intermediate or higher

Bonus
— Experience with AWS and Serverless technologies, Lambda functions
— Experience with NodeJS frameworks like NestJS
— Proficient with containerization (e.g. Docker and Kubernetes)
— JavaScript/Typescript experience or willing to learn and use them along with functional programming
— Experience with React framework
— Experience within finance
— Strong communication skills
— Naming five or more dishes that include beetroot, besides borsch.
