Exciting times! We are thrilled to be working with an awesome, new client based in Zürich, Switzerland. To complete our dream team, we are looking for a dynamic Python developer.

If caring for nature sounds like something you have dreamt of doing, this may be for you. Our client is a company that is keen on wild bees. They have built their business by selling beehives and wild bee species, both to farmers and individuals, who are looking to make a sustainable impact on the bee population for the sake of better harvests... Your role will be to create a new REST API for customer-related endpoints.

Our collaboration model allows you to work and communicate directly with the development team on the client side.

Responsibilities:
— Building a new microservice to handle our client related data
— Integration of a new ticketing solution with the microservice
— Orchestrating data synchronization jobs with Airflow
— Improving the backend into a state-of-the-art technology stack

What we are looking for:
— 3+ years experience writing Python applications, preferably Flask
— Experience with Docker
— Experience in microservice architecture
— Good level of English
— A healthy level of pragmatism and a “can-do” attitude
— You love borsch!

Bonus:
— Prior exposure to Apache Airflow
