As Director of Operations, you’ll be a critical pillar of Finmap’s growth strategy. We’re seeking a visionary yet detail-oriented leader to optimize our operational ecosystem, drive SaaS metric excellence, and ensure that every department operates with efficiency and purpose. Your role will be foundational in our expansion goals, uniting Finmap’s mission with actionable, results-driven strategies across teams.
This role requires a proactive, data-savvy person who can embed Finmap’s values of care, humanity, development, and openness into the fabric of our day-to-day operations. The successful candidate will be a structured thinker, adept at balancing strategy with hands-on execution, and passionate about driving measurable growth.
Key Responsibilities & Initial
Control Alignment:
Goal Alignment: Ensure that all department tasks contribute to specific key objectives and metrics, particularly in the marketing department. Implement structured project and metric breakdowns to support this alignment.
Conversion & Funnel Optimization: Oversee funnel conversions and ensure teams remain focused on metrics-driven experimentation to improve conversion rates. This includes managing brainstorming, task prioritization, and tracking the results of implemented strategies.
Operational Oversight: Establish a rhythm and consistency across departments, ensuring operational tasks align with clear metrics. Enable departments to convert tasks into regular processes with metrics-based accountability.
SaaS Metrics Control: Take charge of Finmap’s unit economics, consistently benchmarking metrics against industry standards. Regularly validate calculations and coordinate improvement projects for the optimization of key metrics.
Leadership & Meeting Structure: Lead changes in the team sync format by implementing top-level weekly stand-ups focused on each department’s progress toward measurable metrics.
Customer Journey Mapping (CJM): Initiate a systematic approach to optimizing user onboarding and retention. Oversee weekly department sprints targeting CJM improvements, focusing on key metrics and experimental approaches.
Market Expansion Focus: Play a key role in Finmap’s expansion into the Brazilian market. Experience in scaling operations and adapting strategies for new markets is essential.
What we Expect:
Experience in SaaS and Growth Management: at least 2+ years of driving operations in SaaS Proven success managing operations in a SaaS environment, with a strong grasp of unit economics, customer journey mapping, and data-driven decision-making.
Go-to-Market and Market Expansion Expertise: Background in go-to-market strategies, B2B sales funnels, and international market expansion, with an emphasis on scaling to new regions.
Leadership and People Management: Skilled in leading and developing teams through organized structures and regular progress assessments.
Financial Acumen: Proficient in key SaaS and operational metrics, capable of driving transparency and accountability through effective reporting.
Project Management: Experience implementing metric-focused project management methodologies, particularly with a focus on marketing.
Strategic Vision and Execution: Able to translate high-level strategy into actionable tasks with measurable outcomes.
Adaptability and Growth Mindset: Commitment to personal and professional growth with openness to new knowledge and the ability to navigate changing environments.
