We are seeking a skilled SAP S/4HANA Engineer to design, implement, enhance, and support SAP S/4HANA solutions across business functions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA architecture, configuration, integrations, and technical development, working closely with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and development teams to deliver scalable and high-performing enterprise solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain SAP S/4HANA solutions.
- Configure and customize SAP modules based on business requirements.
- Develop technical objects using ABAP, CDS Views, AMDP, BAPIs, OData Services, and SAP Fiori technologies.
- Build and optimize SAP HANA data models and database performance.
- Design and support integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems using APIs, IDocs, RFCs, SAP CPI, or other middleware.
- Participate in full project lifecycles including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
- Perform system troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance tuning.
- Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Support SAP upgrades, migrations, and S/4HANA transformation initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with SAP development standards, security, and governance policies.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and knowledge articles.
- Mentor junior team members and participate in code reviews and technical best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of SAP technical development experience.
- 2+ years of hands-on SAP S/4HANA implementation or support experience.

- SAP S/4HANA architecture
- SAP HANA database
- ABAP on HANA
- CDS Views
- OData Services
- SAP Gateway
- SAP Fiori/UI5
- Core Data Services (CDS)
- REST/SOAP APIs
- IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs
- Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) is highly desirable.
- Experience with SAP Integration Suite/CPI is preferred.
- Strong SQL and database optimization skills.
- Experience using SAP Solution Manager or SAP Cloud ALM.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP Certified Development Associate — ABAP for SAP HANA.
- SAP S/4HANA certification.
- Experience with SAP Activate methodology.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD for SAP.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
- Familiarity with SAP Security and Authorization concepts.
