Senior Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Terraform and deep expertise across Azure, AWS, and GCP. This role is ideal for someone passionate about infrastructure automation, cloud architecture, and building scalable, secure, and resilient multi-cloud environments.

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices while collaborating with DevOps, security, and application teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Build reusable Terraform modules and manage remote state securely
• Architect highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable cloud solutions
• Automate CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments
• Implement cloud security best practices (IAM, RBAC, encryption, network security)
• Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure performance and costs
• Support disaster recovery and backup strategies
• Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to streamline cloud operations
• Ensure compliance with governance and security policies

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or DevOps roles
• Strong hands-on expertise with:
  
  • AWS (EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, S3, EKS, Lambda)
  • Azure (VMs, VNets, Azure AD, AKS, Storage, App Services)
  • GCP (Compute Engine, VPC, IAM, GKE, Cloud Storage)
• Advanced experience writing and maintaining Terraform configurations
• Strong understanding of networking concepts (DNS, VPN, load balancing, firewalls)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
• Experience with cloud security and compliance standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Terraform certification (HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate)
• Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, GCP Professional Cloud Architect)
• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Cloud-native monitoring tools)
• Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization strategies
• Experience working in regulated environments (HIPAA, SOC2, ISO27001)
