Junior Software Engineer (hybrid model Kyiv or Lviv) (вакансія неактивна)

We are looking for a strong Junior Software Engineer to join our team in Ukraine and work on our contract management SaaS product. You’ll be involved in many aspects of the engineering process, helping evolve our existing architecture and implementing new features and functionality.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team to design, develop, test, and implement software solutions using JavaScript (ES6+), React, Node.js, and Sass.
• Assist in integrating front-end UI with the constructed APIs and backend services.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining high development standards.
• Contribute to the optimization of our applications for performance and scalability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
• Assist in the creation of technical documentation for reference and reporting.
• Continuously learn and improve skills to keep up with the latest technology trends.

Skills & Experience:

Required:

• 1+ Years experience in software development.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with React and its core principles.
• Familiarity with Node.js and creating web services.
• Familiarity with TypeScript.
• Good level of English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience (or you’re in the process of getting one).

Desirable:

• Knowledge of Docker and containerization practices.
• Familiarity with server-side rendering (SSR).
• Experience with bundling tools such as Webpack.
• Experience with Sass or other CSS pre-processors.
