About the company: AXAL Technology is a digital studio specializing in creating innovative business solutions. We are looking for an experienced PHP developer to join our team and help in implementing our projects for clients.

Responsibilities:

• Developing new products from scratch.
• Designing and coding the architecture of our core systems.
• Developing high-quality, maintainable code.
• Working on scalable products using PHP7, hosted in a cloud-based infrastructure.
• Building and maintaining internal and external RESTful APIs.
• Maintaining and expanding test coverage.
• Constantly expanding knowledge in reliable software architecture, programming, and new technologies.
• Working with agile processes adapted to the team’s and project’s needs.
• Sharing knowledge with other developers and being part of the team.

Tech Stack:

• Framework: Laravel
• Containerization: Docker
• Database: MySQL

• Development environment: AWS
• CI/CD: Laravel Deployer, GitHub

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in PHP programming.
• Strong knowledge of PHP 8+ and frameworks such as Laravel/Symfony/Yii.
• Full-stack awareness from front-end to database design and development.
• Deep knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, Postgres, etc.), SQL, and database/schema design.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular.js, Vue.js, React, etc.
• Good understanding of design patterns.
• Ability to work with APIs and web services using REST.
• Passion for writing well-structured, efficient, and maintainable code, actively maintaining code quality and test suite.
• Understanding and/or experience in Test Driven Development (TDD).
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind scalable applications.
• Experience in the integration of distributed systems.
• Experience in a Continuous Delivery environment.
• Proficient understanding of version control tools, such as Git.
• Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent communication skills.
• English level B2 or higher.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Kubernetes (K8s).
• Familiarity with Argo CD.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
• Experience with Azure Entra ID.
• Experience with other programming languages and technologies.
• Understanding advanced CI/CD strategies.
