Senior Automation Quality Engineer (with JS/TS) (вакансія неактивна)

We are seeking a Senior Automation Quality Engineer in Ukraine to join a long-term project that drives growth and efficiency through AI-powered automation. You’ll create and maintain automated UI and API tests for an innovative, data-driven real estate platform.

This is you

• 4+ years of proven experience in test automation with emphasis on UI and API testing;
• Hands-on experience with Playwright framework using JavaScript and TypeScript;
• Experience with CI/CD tools, preferably GitHub Actions, for automated test execution;
• Proficiency in SQL and working with PostgreSQL databases;
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams;
• Ability to develop new and maintain existing automated tests in test automation frameworks;
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Nice-to-have skills:

• Experience in data-heavy or enterprise-level platforms;
• Familiarity with test management tools such as Jira and Xray.

This is your role

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript for UI and API automation;
• Implement and uphold automated test frameworks to ensure robust and reliable test coverage;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments;
• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline using tools like GitHub Actions for continuous testing;
• Utilize test management tools (e.g., Jira, Xray) to track and report testing progress and defects;
• Write and execute SQL queries against PostgreSQL databases for backend validation;
• Troubleshoot and debug issues related to automation scripts and test failures.
