Avenga is looking for a Python Software Engineer to work on our USA project. Our customer is the only global machine condition monitoring company that combines advanced technology, expert analysis, and a web delivery model that provides plant managers with the knowledge they need to ensure machinery uptime, plant availability, and reduced maintenance cost.

What you bring along:

• 3+ years of experience in Python;
• Hands-on experience with Flask;
• Solid knowledge of ElasticSearch;
• Experience with RDBMS such as PostgreSQL, MySQL;
• Solid understanding of OOP concepts, SOLID, and Design patterns;
• English — Upper-Intermediate or higher.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with Graph DBs such as ArangoDB and supporting libraries.

This is your mission:

• Develop, maintain, and improve our software applications with a focus on efficiency and scalability;
• Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs in the codebase;
• Make existing code lint-compliant to enhance code quality and maintainability;
• Refactor code to improve readability, performance, and adherence to best practices;
• Ensure all contributed code is well-documented;
• Follow software design and implementation directives, while also being comfortable working independently with minimal supervisions.
