AUTOMAT-IT is an international leading AWS Premier Partner, specializing in cloud migration and complex DevOps projects, mostly for start-ups segment. Our customers are able to plan and execute DevOps best practices of automation self-service, implement and manage Kubernetes, save on budgets, overcome IT complexity and deliver on “time to market”.

We are looking for a NOC engineer 24/7 to join our team in Ukraine.

You have:

At least 1 year experience in a similar position (NOC/Tech Support engineer or Junior DevOps relevant experience) — a must.

• Hands-on AWS cloud experience
• Confident Linux OS knowledge
• Network troubleshooting and configuration
• GIT and scripting skills with either Python or Bash
• Web applications architecture understanding
• Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Cloudwatch, etc.) and principles
• Upper Intermediate English language proficiency
• Great customer service and confident business communication skills
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, drive on preventing incidents
• Be innovative, learn new tools and best practices

Nice to have:

• IaaC: CloudFormation, Terraform knowledge
• CI/CD: Jenkins, ArgoCD
• Containers orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes (EKS, GKE)

You will:

1. Respond to incidents according to playbooks
2. 24/7 customers support (8 hours shifts)
3. Network, Infrastructure, Applications monitoring and issues troubleshooting
4. Metrics, Alerts and Incidents analytics to finetune algorithms and thresholds
5. Maintaining and documenting monitoring solutions
6. Contribution to infrastructure automation and internal NOC tools development
