Cloud Analyst/FinOps engineer

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the cloud financial reporting and forecasting, oversee the budget and actual expenditure
• Implement improvements around automated cost reporting tools and methods
• Support clients in understanding cloud bills based on their business needs

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, finances, or operations research
• Proven working experience in technical/financial data analysis or any other relevant background
• Being able to translate reporting into actionable recommendations or a strong desire to learn this skill set
• Basic knowledge of AWS or any other cloud services, architectures, and tools is an advantage
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Intermediate English or higher

Nice to have:

• Cloud Certifications
• Understand AWS billing structure and cost components for the various resource types
• Experience with 3rd party cloud cost optimization tools like CloudHealth, etc.
