The MA team develops and maintains the Autodoc application for Android. The app is available in 27 European countries. MA team is engaged in both the development of new features and the support and improvement of the already implemented functionality. Your responsibility will be technical design and development of new functionality, refactoring the existing codebase to MVVM approach.
- SDK Development: Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform and ensure the robustness of the SDK.
- Architecture and Code Quality: Lead the development efforts by providing technical guidance and ensuring high-quality code through code reviews and adherence to coding standards.
- Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and other issues to ensure smooth and responsive applications.
- Unit Testing: Demonstrate a strong focus on testing by writing comprehensive unit tests and conducting UI testing using frameworks like JUnit and Espresso to ensure the stability and reliability of our applications.
- Emerging Technologies: Stay updated with the latest advancements in Android development and other relevant technologies to continuously improve our applications.
- Problem Solving: Analyze and solve complex technical challenges related to mobile application development and provide creative solutions.
- Code Quality and Documentation: Write clean, modular, and testable code, and maintain clear and concise documentation to facilitate collaboration within the team.
- Troubleshooting and Bug Fixing: Investigate and troubleshoot reported issues, providing timely bug fixes and updates to maintain app stability.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones and deliver high-quality applications on time.
- Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in Android app development with a proven track record of delivering successful applications.
- Strong expertise in SQLite or another relation and non-relation database, including its implementation and integration into Android applications.
- Proficiency in Kotlin and Java for Android development and solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
- Experience with Android Studio, Gradle, and version control systems like Git.
- Deep understanding of Android UI/UX design principles and best practices for creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces using Jetpack Compose, XML.
- Knowledge of Android architectural patterns (Clean, MVVM, MVP, etc.) and experience with dependency injection frameworks (e.g., Dagger, Hilt).
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and their integration into mobile applications.
- English intermediate (B1)
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or another field
- Experience managing the software development lifecycles
