Looking for server software engineer with experience in developing and maintaining highly available distributed networking systems.

Responsibilities

Our team is looking for a software engineer to join our growing engineering team that has built and manages the world’s fastest vpn service. The ideal candidate is a hands-on platform builder who is proficient in the Linux network stack. We are looking for someone who can use his experience to build large scale, geo distributed micro services capable of serving millions of users everyday.

Qualifications

— 3-5 years of C++ software development experience

— 3+ years experience developing and maintaining software involving networking protocols (IP, TCP, UDP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, etc)

— 2+ years experience with event driven software development

— 2+ years of experience with debugging and troubleshooting server networking software (tcpdump, ss, core dump analysis)

— 2+ years of experience with monitoring, debugging, troubleshooting and performance-tuning skills.

— Strong written and spoken communication skills.

Nice to have:

— Knowledge of Python/golang

— Experience with Linux system administration

— Exposure to load and performance analysis of server software.

— Understanding of container technologies (docker)
