Responsible for the daily delivery of IS services and solutions across US and International infrastructure. Manage relationships with data center providers. Provides team oversight to ensure infrastructure standards are enforced and are in compliance with Aura’s policies, audit usage of the infrastructure.
— Manage data center provider relationships.
— Manage relations with IP ranges providers, and manage the process of IP ranges migration between providers (LoA, etc).
— Manage payment of all data center services.
— Work with business / IS Leadership to understand and forecast infrastructure technology demand and manage the project of meeting this demand (new location roll-outs, scaling up/down locations, etc).
— Work with SRE on server delivery expectations and acceptance.
— Analyze spending on infrastructure by BU, team and project and compare it with previous months.
— Participate in technology / project planning sessions and ensure clear understanding / feasibility of any relevant implementation milestones from the perspective of infrastructure readiness / change.
— Work with the Service Providers to identify changes needed in the infrastructure / technology configuration; identify current and projected limitations.
— Work with the Service Providers to deliver the infrastructure solutions, enforce applicable policies, and ensure compliance with business and technology strategy.
— Effectively manage the Service Providers to ensure consistent, high quality infrastructure, timely setup / maintenance of needed technology, customer service and satisfaction
— Lead the Data Center support team both on and off shore to ensure consistent delivery of supported services.
— Work with business / IS Leadership to understand and forecast infrastructure technology demand including transaction and data volume and timing.
— Manage the relationship with the client managers, ensuring that any needed / approved technology infrastructure changes are scheduled and implemented.
— Ensure adherence to incident, change, and problem management processes for the entire support team.
— Identify opportunities to save costs / more effectively manage assets and escalate the opportunity to IS Leadership.
