A growing US-based trading firm is seeking a lead accounting and finance professional.

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for the financial operations of the business and report directly to the CEO and shareholders
• Monthly trading reconciliation, review of exchange, broker, and other counterparty fees.
• Preparation and presentation of accounting and management reports
• Maintain GL
• CF and expense management
• Budgeting and expense controls
• Contract negotiations
• Multi tax jurisdiction operation
• Build and manage the accounting team

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree or higher in finance, economics, or accounting
• At least 5 years of accounting/audit/consulting experience
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar position
• Experience in preparing high-quality documents, presentations, and financial models
• Proficiency in GAAP rules and standards, and key performance indicators
• Basic knowledge of Python and SQL for automation
• Cultural fit to work in a global, remote-first, fast-paced business
• Great communication skills and a desire to learn
• Analytical thinking
• Fluent in English
