— 3+ years of leadership experience, preferably at a product company
— 5+ years of software engineering experience with extensive hands-on technical expertise
— Experience with mobile backend and web application backend with 4M+ users
— Functional programming experience
— Proven experience in hiring and retaining engineering talent
— Ability to recognize and develop team member strengths
— Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously... we will ask about specific cases, challenges and success stories
— Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and what makes product companies different from outsourcing
— Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical people alike

— Report directly to the CEO and partner with other product and engineering leaders
— Lead 2-3 new Java engineering teams (incl. hiring, onboarding and mentorship)
— Gain a deep understanding of Attendify’s existing products and architecture
— Help the Clojure team transition certain products and services to Java
— Support and develop new features for Attendify Audiences, Mobile Backend, Registration
— Work closely with Product, Operations, Marketing and other teams
— Contribute to architecture decisions and product strategy
— Increase productivity of your teams by fostering an agile culture
— Help develop effective cross-functional communication across the entire company
— Lead by example, speak up, drive progress and make everyone you work with stronger.

— Data processing stack includes Kafka, ElasticSearch, Amazon S3, Amazon Redshift
