System Architect

Requirements

• 10+ years of commercial software development using Java-related technologies
• At least three years of experience in a managing role (5-7 people)
• Experience in architectural design
• Experience in the development of distributed transactional systems and microservices
• Experience with Kubernetes and AWS services— Experience with high-load systems
• Experience with distributed messaging (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
• Good understanding of Relational Databases- experience with MongoDB/Oracle/MS SQL Server/MySQL/Postgres
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and understanding business requirements
• Defining and documenting the overall solution architecture, creating architecture diagrams, and data models
• Evaluating and selecting appropriate technologies and platforms for the solution
• Develop prototypes to validate design approaches and technologies
• Work closely with development teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the solution is implemented as designed
• Participating in the continuous improvement of the existing solution and processes based on evolving business needs

Nice to have

• Ability to motivate the team, encourage suggestions from the teams, and implement the proposed initiatives
• Application and infrastructure monitoring experience

Work Conditions

• Vacation: 22 working days per year.
