Mission: Lead the AI research and development of the Assisterr platform relying on Small Language Models.

Assisterr is a decentralised platform that simplifies the creation, maintenance, and support of community-owned Small Language Models (SLMs).

Our incentive-driven data inference framework allows everyone to contribute knowledge and expertise to train these AI models, ensuring permissionless access, data quality, and fair rewards.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the AI R&D and execution of our strategy for creating a network of community-owned Small Language Models that set new industry standards.
• Lead the AI team, managing their efforts and contributions to the AI infrastructure behind the core AI Lab product. Fostering an environment of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Spearhead collaborations with other teams to ensure our AI infrastructure is effectively integrated into market-driven solutions.
• Represent Assisrerr in the AI community, sharing our work and learning through open contributions, speaking engagements, and publications.

Qualifications:

• A PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field, complemented by a solid track record in AI R&D.
• Experience building and/or finetuning Language Models or other foundational models from scratch including the implementation of training and inference algorithms and gathering and curation of the training data.
• Strong experience in NLP, Cloud environments, and multimodal learning.
• Excellent programming skills in Python.
• Experience in Data/AI pipelines orchestration.
• Experience in Mlops and Data version control systems

• Ability to Create global AI vision and align it with small and fast product iterations like new features, partnerships, clients POC’s
• Strong ability to create prototypes in short period of time to validate with customers and team.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing diverse, high-performing teams, with an emphasis on mentorship and collaborative success.
• Advanced knowledge of distributed and high-performance computing systems.
