We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle DBA with over 5 years of expertise in Oracle database administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on high-availability, performance, and security, with extensive experience in Oracle 19с environments. This role demands a highly skilled professional who can manage and optimize mission-critical Oracle databases, ensuring their reliability and efficiency.

Successful candidates should correspond to the following required competencies:

Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain Oracle databases to ensure high availability and optimal performance.

• Design, monitor, and tune databases to meet performance and scalability requirements.

• Implement and manage backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.

• Develop and execute disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime and data loss.

• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, providing robust solutions to maintain system stability.

• Participation in the development and optimization of the architecture of new and existing databases.

• Work with developers on the implementation and support of the database.
  
  
• Maintenance of technical documentation.

Requirements:

• Experience: 5+ years of Oracle database administration, with a focus on high-availability, performance, and security.

• Expertise in database design, monitoring, tuning, backup and recovery, and disaster recovery.

• Certifications (would be a big plus): Certified Oracle Database Administrator (OCP).

• PostgreSQL knowledge will be a big plus.

General skills

• English (reading/writing/speaking) — min Intermediate level.

• Experience in working with people.

• Quick understanding and learning abilities.
