— 5+ years experience in backend web development. Primary technology is Python, but good candidates with other main technology may be reviewed
— Solid knowledge of Project Management discipline. Activities, artifacts, metrics. 2+ years of work experience as a PM in software development.
— Deep understanding of modern software development methodologies and techniques (RUP, SCRUM, XP-family). Ability to build custom process out of the best practices that are applicable for a particular project.
— Solid experience in developing and maintaining high load web applications. Understanding possible approaches for improving application performance (scaling, caching, queueing, distributing etc)
— Deep understanding of Git flow; experience of introducing and supporting it within development process
— Solid experience of building complex CI systems
— Solid experience in building and maintaining project infrastructure using AWS
— Good expertise in data structures design using SQL and NOSQL databases. Practical experience of working with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis
— Experience of using different planning/tracking tools (JIRA is primary).
— Computer Science/Applied Mathematics degree with the appropriate knowledge base. Confirmed knowledge base without degree also will do
— Awareness of modern front-end technologies, their pros-n-cons, applicability etc
— Experience in development of geospatial-related projects
— Good knowledge of discrete mathematics: graphs, combinatorics, probability etc.
— Good spoken English

The project is a social delivery platform that connects between senders and couriers, allowing anyone to become a courier, using his geographic location, daily commutes, and travels, while senders can locate couriers around them and order delivery services directly from the carrier. The system will support mobile and web interfaces, for the different users, and use cases. Mobile Application (native solutions) will serve both, consumers (senders) and couriers.
