Business Development Manager (e-commerce product) (вакансія неактивна)

appflame is a young fast-growing company, with its own products in the niche of social discovery / social network / dating. Our products operate primarily in Tier-1 markets such as the USA, UK, Canada, Australia. Our main advantage is the speed of development from an idea to our own product, the absence of bureaucratic processes, focus on results, development based on numbers.

We are looking for a person who will help us with the search and filling of products for our e-comm stores. Your immediate tasks will be search and select reliable suppliers (mostly Chinese) with the best prices and to search for relevant „hot” products in the selected niche according to discussions with suppliers. All your products should be added by you to the site. You may also need to create warehouses for the best-selling products through third-party companies in the countries of sale (if necessary).

Responsibilities:
• Discovering profitable suppliers and initiate procurement partnerships;
• Research of products of ’High Demand’;
• Gather content from suppliers;
• Co-ordinate the writing of detailed product descriptions for all products being placed on the online store;
• Update product prices, stock availability and other details;
• Add reviews from external sources;
• Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms;
• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness;
• Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the product specifications;
• Conduct products quality control process;
• Expect unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies;
• Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements;
• Make sure suppliers have all the necessary certifications for their products;
• Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs;
• Сreate a warehouse of high-demand products through third parties, if necessary;
• Resolve shipping, payment, and return disputes (if necessary).

Requirements:
• Proven working experience as a procurement manager and/or sales manager;
• Marketing experience within Retail eCommerce;
• Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in „reading” the market;
• Talent in negotiations and networking;
• Strong Customer focus;
• Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers;
• Experience in collecting and analyzing data;
• Experience with Excel, Google sheets;
• English: upper-intermediate or higher.

Will be a plus:
• Experience in in business development;
• Experience with DropShipping;
• Experience in SEO and Google Analytics;
• Chinese language.
