HARMAN ADAS SBU Augmented Reality Platform is an Automotive software product with the vision of bringing the relevant information in driver’s field-of-view. Our software product is bringing Immersive Augmented Reality Experience to vehicle drivers or passengers complementing and enhancing ADAS & Navigation experience, reshaping how users interact with the environment around car position. Our solution merges the virtual and real worlds helping drivers to understand in an exact way where to make a maneuver, therefore making the driving experience more enjoyable, safer, and more carefree. Our team of experts in Automotive Software / System, Navigation, Machine Learning (ML), Computer Vision (CV) and sensor fusion technologies pioneered AR Navigation in Premium Automotive segment 2018 and introduced to the market several innovative AR Solutions 2021.

YOUR ROLE:

We are looking for a highly skilled SW Engineer to join our growing team helping us to develop state of the art augmented / mixed reality applications for automotive solutions including AR Perception, UI/UX part and business logic. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with similar SW for real-time system designing it in the way to get well-structured, easily readable, and highly stable source code.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Design and implement highly scalable services for data ingestion and data processing
• Provide an infrastructure and backend system for large-scale data sets
• Work with a big data coming from a various car sensor (gps, camera, LIDAR etc...)
• Analyse, enrich, and improve incoming data sources
• Continuously improve efficiency by automating data labelling workflows
• Participate in the of design the systems’ quality control and data validation
• Participate in both algorithm and software developments as a part of a scrum team
• Work with architects, engineers, designers, testers, and managers in multiple geographical locations
• Perform code reviews, team mentorship and other activities to ensure high-quality results

WHAT YOU NEED:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field combined with software engineering and data science experience
• Proficiency in at least one of the programming languages: Python, Java/Kotlin or C++
• Experience with MapReduce frameworks (Spark / PySpark)
• Hands-on experience with big data processing frameworks (Amazon Kinesis, Apache Kafka, HDFS, Apache Cassandra ...)
• Good English written and spoken

WHAT IS NICE TO HAVE:

• Be comfortable with SQL.
• Experience working in the field of machine learning or/and neural networks
• Experience with one or more AI frameworks (Tensorflow, Pytorch, Caffe)
• Familiarity with Python machine learning libraries (Numpy, scikit-learn).
• Experience with AWS services and infrastructure
• Strong communication skills
• Ability and willingness to work in team environment
• Ability to multitask by handling different assignments
• Ability to meet the given milestones/deliverable in scheduled time
• Strong publication and patent record will be plus
