— At least 7 years work experience in software development and experience dealing with agile methods (e.g. SCRUM or KANBAN);
— At least 1 year experience of developing for the Google Cloud Platform or similar vendors;
— Strong experience with building cloud-native software;
— Excellent knowledge of Java and preferably another programming language;
— Able to transfer her / his broad knowledge to her / his colleagues;
— Able to solve complex problems independently and lead goal-oriented discussions;
— Strong knowledge of implementation of complex microservice architectures or serverless functions;
— Good knowledge of several Google Cloud Platform services like PubSub and Datastore;
— Solid experience with Kubernetes;
— Good knowledge about event-driven systems, e.g. by implementing event sourcing;
— Good knowledge of Webservice API design;
— Experience with test driven development;
— Fluent oral and written English language skills.
— Solid Experience with migration from monolith to microservices;
— Comfortable working with Cloud Native Applications in Production Environment;
— Previous success with implementing observable systems, e.g. by using Prometheus and OpenTracing;
— Broad knowledge of software technology beyond his daily work;
— Experience with Solr or ElasticSearch;
— Comfortable working with Spring Boot and Jersey, JAXB, ActiveMQ;
— Experience with at least one reactive Framework (Reactor, RxJava or something else);
— Familiarity with In Memory Data Store (Redis, Memchache, Hazelcast eg);
