PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a DevOps engineer to join a highly qualified, successful, and goal-oriented team of the AMC Bridge IT department. The project is cloud-based, integrated BIM system for engineering teams and architecture companies. The technology stack are AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, GCP.

EXPERIENCE: 3+ years of DevOps engineer experience

EDUCATION: BS or MS in Computer Science or a closely related discipline

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience with GKE, Google Cloud (iam, Kubernetes Engine, VPC)
• Experience with AWS (Cognito, Beanstalk, Cloud Watch, ec2, s3, private VPC configuration)
• Solid knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform (nice to have)
• Experience in administrating *nix and Windows systems
• Experience in configuring CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Git
• Experience with build tools
• Holistic view of the software development process
• Ability to work equally well independently and in a team environment
• Excellent communication skills and a service-oriented mindset
• English — Upper-intermediate

DUTIES:

• Participate in process discussions
• Logging, monitoring, and tracing errors usage data using built-in AWS or GCP tools and dedicated off-the-shelf solutions or platforms
• Help with generalizing our deployment across projects, therefore, adding CI/CD for both AWS and GCP
• Work creatively on many projects
• Put your DevOps ideas into practice
• Increase the team’s pool of knowledge
