PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
A solution that provides a single tool for everything needed for additive manufacturing: slicing, arrangement, orientation optimization, support structures, simulation and compensation, and connection to the printing machine.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
1 year in commercial software development
EDUCATION:
BS or MS in computer science, math, or engineering
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven work experience with the finite element method (FEM), understanding of existing solvers, and experience in writing the own ones
- Experience with and understanding of continuum mechanics and partial differential equations (PDE)
- Experience in implementing the resolution of PDEs in FE code
- Experience in and knowledge of general-purpose computing on graphics processing units (GPGPU) is a big plus
- Experience with С++ is a plus
- Intermediate or higher level of spoken and written English
- Proactivity and the ability to work independently or as a part of a project team
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Experience in the agile or scrum development process
DUTIES:
- Design and implement future releases of the desktop application within the expert team
- Build the desktop application using specific technologies: finite element analysis, PDEs, continuum mechanics
- Participate in all aspects of the application development: from feature definition and estimation to architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, measurement, and refinement
- Communicate with customers regularly
- Work independently when required
