Responsibilities

• Enforcing security policies in offices
• Working with Chief Security Officer to detect and prevent threats
• Maintaining inventory of employees’ laptops and other equipment
• Documenting current hardware and server setup
• Onboarding security checkup for new employees
• Performing required clean up procedures on laptops (to prevent intentional and unintentional threats)
• Managing office wireless network and WAN connections
• Troubleshooting any reported hardware or connection problems
• Managing office backup internet channel, performing checks that everything is prepaid, configured and working
• Managing office VPNs
• Managing office hardware: printers, scanners, projectors, mobile phones, etc.
• Setting up secure local server environment for some services (now everything is in the clouds)

Skills

• Linux and MacOS experience is the must
• Basic Windows experience
• Corporate network experience: RADIUS, WPA Enterprise, seamless Wi-Fi roaming, guest network, VPN
• Developed soft skills for answering technical queries and assisting users
• Basic understanding of blockchain technology, cryptography, Bitcoin and Ethereum
  

Extra Competencies

• Degree in computer science
• Experience with MikroTik Routerboard hardware
• Former financial, security or law enforcement experience
• Cryptocurrency experience
• Passed certifications
• You have a decent level of English. Otherwise, we’d make you learn it
• You won’t survive here if you don’t keep on learning something new
• You despise hierarchy but respect authority and experience
• You don’t fall into a stupor when you need to manage your tasks and priorities
• You know that “a teamwork” is not an empty word applicants use to impress recruiters
