• The Tribe Scrum Master should have a solid scrum background and a strong Agile experience. The position requires very good soft skills, especially communication, conflict management and influencing skills. Scrum Master Certification required and Product Owner certification recommended.
• Background in PMO Process & Methodology Specialist/Manager OR Agile Project Manager.
• Programming experience in Python would be a plus as well as process automation experience (Jira, Confluence, BitBucket, GitLab, Jenkins).
• Facilitation — Must be able to animate and facilitate discussion and alternatives or different approaches. Encourage the flow of information and creativity between individuals and through the tribe.
• Assertiveness — Must be able to ensure Agile concepts and principles are respected, must be able to be a voice of reason and authority. Be able to act as a Guardian of the Agile Manifesto.
• Communication — Ability to express ideas / views and passes on information in an open and honest manner, clear and understandable by counterpart(s). Receptive to others’ ideas / views. Able to promote Feedback Culture — Be able to talk as a tribe. Ability to communicate effectively with people.
• Working together: Understanding ourselves and moderating our responses, — Talking effectively and empathizing accurately, — Building relationships of trust, respect and productive interactions — Promote balance team members participation/visibility.
• Attitude of empowerment — Must be able to encourage teams to self-organize.
• Situationally Aware — Must be aware to coordinate and anticipate potential issues as they arise, coordinating their solving with the teams[s] (even outside the tribe) and elevate them to management if needed.
• Attitude of transparency — Must desire to bring disclosure and transparency to the stakeholders [R&D and Business] about development and foster trust.
• Motivator/Perseverance — Ability to maintain effective motivation in the face of setbacks or difficult situations.
• Conflict Management: Demonstrates capacities to handle conflicts within the tribe.

Обов’язки

Maximize the effectiveness of the Tribe and guide towards Agile best practices. The Tribe Scrum Master works in strong collaboration with the Tribe Leader, the Tribe Product Owner, as well as the Scrum Masters and the Product Owners. He ensures that the tribe deliveries are predictable and acts as a coordinator for many cross scrum teams and intro tribe aspects.
• Inspire and lead the team through Agile practices and transformation;
• Promote Agile and Lean thinking inside the team. Coach team members towards agile mindset adoption;
• Be a partner and supporter for the team in daily activities and release process;
• Facilitate all required SCRUM events adopted by the team;
• Consult and coach POs towards adoption Agile best practices or tailored approaches;
• Monitor both sprint\release progress and team mood\happiness on the workplace. In case of any inclination from normal state, assist the team to get back to normal state or bring the sprint delivery on track;
• Help team members work together and builds team spirit — coaches team members (e.g. with one-on-one coaching), acts as mediator through conflicts, helps the team make joint decisions, fosters the developer team’s self-organization, acts as mediator during general conflict of goals between development team (high technical quality) and Product Owner (more features);
• Participate in process improvement initiatives as well contribute to it;
• Conduct 1:1 interview and provide feedback and improvement suggestions about team performance to management or HR team;
• Coordinate activities with other SCRUM masters from the tribe (streams) as well as with central office Agile coaches;
• Maintain Virtual Organization Directory (team data), teams’ Jira\Confluence;
• Maintain team/organizational documentation in Confluence;
• From time to time act as the contact point with local and central office team.
