Our client, a leading provider of innovative solutions dedicated to optimizing operational efficiency for travel management companies and hotel chains. And we are seeking a talented Senior AQA Engineer to enhance the quality and reliability of our software products. Join our dynamic team and contribute to our ongoing success.

We will need to improve the current Framework utilized by the client’s team, build the AQA team which will be led by our side, build processes and procedures for the whole team, and integrate AQA in the development pipeline.

Required skills

* Proven commercial experience as an AQA Engineer or similar role, with a focus on automated testing and quality assurance.
* Understanding of QA / TA goals, areas of applicability, activities, deliverables.
* 4+ years in AQA with JS(ES6+) and / or TS
* Hands-on experience with Cypress for writing and executing end-to-end tests
* Understanding of version control systems such as Bitbucket.
* Hands-on experience with at least two of the stated technical excellence practices:
— SOLID, KISS, DRY principals following.
— Participation and / or conduction of code review sessions.
— Code conventions setup and / or following.
* Experience using CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or similar).
* Experience using TLM solutions (TestRail or similar).
* Experience in creation of TA related documentation — User/Dev guides, Javadoc/Classdoc, Test run report etc.
* Good communication skills, experience collaborating with cross-functional and distributed teams.
* English language proficiency at the B2 level or higher, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities
* Working on TA coverage extension in terms of ready-made automated test framework using JS/TS (ES6+)
* Utilize Cypress to create robust end-to-end tests for web applications, identifying and resolving any issues or discrepancies.
* Review of artifacts delivered by other colleagues, including both test artifacts and test automation code.
* Maintain automation code in BitBucket.
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including developers, PMs, and QA engineers to define test strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
* Manage and maintain test strategy, test suites and other testing docs.
* Participate in configuration of Jenkins pipelines for CI/CD processes.
* Utilize Test Lifecycle Management (TLM) solution (TestRail or similar)
* Investigate and track test results, generate insightful reports.
* Participate in regular Agile ceremonies — sprint planning, retrospectives, grooming sessions etc.
* Champion a culture of quality and excellence within the organization, advocating for rigorous testing standards and driving continuous improvement initiatives within stakeholder’s team.
* Uphold a culture of quality and excellence within the organization, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
* Contribute to problem-solving efforts and demonstrate a proactive approach to identifying and addressing software defects.
