About the project:
Join a forward-thinking company with a robust European presence specializing in commodity trading and innovative energy solutions. We’re embarking on a project to overhaul the global internal management system to meet growing business demands.
Key components include:
- Data consolidation and processing
- ETL implementation
- Automated workflows and calculations
- PowerBI reporting
- Various permission levels
You’ll collaborate with a team of 5 Engineers, 2 MQAs, a BA, and a PM under the guidance of an Architect.
Please note: This role requires a flexible schedule, which may include working out of regular working hours. The position also necessitates the ability to travel to Zagreb.

Important Note: For this role, we are currently seeking candidates who are fluent in Ukrainian.
About you:
- At least 2 years of experience in product testing/development life cycle.
- Understanding of software development life cycles.
- Knowledge of differences in products for testing.
- Understanding of product quality monitoring and its development approaches.
- Understanding of database types and how they work. Ability to create and execute SQL queries. Ability to install/configure DB for the project needs.
- Knowledge of Unified Modeling Language.
- Knowledge of all possible application types (such as web, desktop, etc) and specifics of their testing.
- Knowledge of client-server conception.
- Knowledge of web-based application types and how they work.
- Knowledge of Graphic User Interface standard controls names and properties.
- Knowledge of testing techniques: test results should be reliable and should not be additionally validated.
- Advanced knowledge of the testing process and quality control process to guarantee the required quality of a product.
- English: intermediate level or higher.
You will work with:
- Executes all quality control procedures to determine and guarantee required product quality. Fully understands QA activities and responsibilities on a project.
- Identifies the project test items and features to be tested and features not to be tested.
- Specifies the testing approaches based on the selected items for testing and their features.
- Performs the impact analysis for all possible inspecting items: specifications or requirements for inaccuracies and completeness and changing requirements to other requirements/design/test cases.
- Performs requirements management: managing changes to requirements and their influence on the whole product.
- Prepares the QA activities estimates at various stages of SMC and re-estimates QA activities based on requirements or specifications changes, test design development, test execution, and releases testing in the scope of assigned tasks.
- Designs the tests: specifies the details of the test approach for software features and creates associated tests.
- Performs the analysis, reporting, and tracking of product features/enhancements using a defined procedure and workflow.
- Performs the analysis, reporting, and tracking of defects/issues using a defined procedure and workflow.
- Performs the impact analysis related to regression testing and system changing from defect fixing scope.
- Creates, updates, supports, and provides the review of specifications, requirements, or other documents related to QA activities on a project when needed.
- Verifies that defects, issues, and other items are completely resolved and all appropriate items are updated accordingly.
- Prepares the test summary reports and defines templates for reports. Collects defect reports based on test execution suit for final report.
- Provides the competent review of testing results at various testing stages.
- Defines, selects, and configures the testing tools and environment(s) based on selected test types and test approaches. (configuration includes initial configuration, setting up test data, etc.)
- Compiles and evaluates the statistical data to determine and maintain the quality and reliability of products.
- Provides the coaching of other team members: invoice to the project, support in all QA activities when it is needed, performs review and provides training.
