About the project:
NavigAid is a secure online Medicaid application product that assists families and caregivers using an organized step-by-step online format. NavigAid reduces the stress, time and energy traditionally associated with the Medicaid application process. Our streamlined, simplified process enables people to focus on what really matters: the care of themselves and their loved ones. Developed by the leading Medicaid application company, Senior Planning Services (SPS), NavigAid is currently available in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
You are suitable for us if you:
— A Full-Stack Engineer both in Node.js and JS/React;
— At least 3+ years of software development experience;
— Understanding of software development life cycles;
— Proficient knowledge of architectural and design patterns, core design concepts;
— Proficient knowledge of design, coding, unit testing, configuration management best practices;
— Proficient knowledge of development tools and libraries according to industry standards;
— Understanding of basic RDBMS concepts;
— Experience with at least one relational database;
— Understanding main principles of NoSQL databases.
— Experience with Amplify, DynamoDb, Terraform, AWS
Skills & abilities:
— Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English;
— Team playing and result orientation skills;
— Client orientation;
— Communication skills;
— Ability to work on one’s own at some phases of the software development cycle;
— Ability to prepare parts of the proposals under the guidance.
Nice to have:
— Education and degree: Computer science, Applied mathematics or equivalent education.
