Job Summary

We are looking for a well-rounded, fast-learner to join our Professional Services team in the Kyiv office. A successful Technical Engineer will be able to bridge the gap between technical skills and financial industry knowledge to deliver successful customized system implementations for our clients. You will work closely with the rest of the Professional Services team, other internal teams, and with clients as your knowledge and product experience grows. The ideal candidate will be motivated to learn new skills and technology, as well as focused on the client experience — helping our clients achieve the best possible outcomes for their business.


• 2+ years working experience
• Great teamwork skills
• Well-rounded personality
• Enthusiasm for technology and finance => namely Portfolio management, Asset trading and Direct Lending
• Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal
• Ability to both demonstrate ownership of tasks, while continually looking for ways to improve
• Proficiency with SQL languages or other direct coding experience, and a willingness to work primarily within Microsoft SQL Server => knowing the difference between functions and stored procedures, being able to comprehend existing codebase (mentorship provided)
• Detail-oriented & strong work ethic
• Thrives in a fast-moving environment and can successfully manage multiple competing priorities

Additional skills

• Version Control (via Subversion tool)
• Experience working with the Microsoft products (mainly Excel spreadsheets — how formulas are created, how cells are hidden)
• Basic understanding of how C# applications work, how they are published via IIS, how API calls are made (via Postman)


• University Bachelor Degree (tech or finance preferred)


• Evaluate clients’ existing business processes to define requirements. Using those requirements, build and deliver a customized implementation of our system, streamlining and automating where possible
• Create custom reports using advanced query writing skills
• Implement interfaces to third party systems using SQL technologies, XML/Xpath and rarely XSLT
• Develop an expertise within our provided software solutions, and be able to communicate and train others with that expertise, both internally and externally
• Produce documentation appropriate for both a technical and business facing audience
• Demonstrate ownership of assigned tasks, and work both independently and as part of a team
