About the Project

The product is a full-stack adtech platform combining demand-side platform (“DSP”) and supply-side platform (“SSP”) and a centralized data platform to power data-driven advertising across digital and connected TV. It enables advertisers and publishers to plan, activate and optimize campaigns within a single ecosystem, leveraging proprietary data, AI-driven optimization and direct access to global media inventory to deliver measurable, full-funnel results.

Team is looking for a strong Senior Data Developer to join the Data Engineering team.

You will be a part of the data platform creation, that is responsible for processing, storing and serving data for all the core systems.

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will encouraged to take a proactive and autonomous approach in R&D while working collaboratively with the team. Client’s ideal candidate is a fast but thorough problem solver and a fun person to work with!

Required skills:

• 6+ years of total commercial development experience
• 4+ years of commercial development experience with Scala (preferred + Spark and Flink ideally)
• Experience in dealing with performance, high scale data systems or distributed systems
• SQL and NoSQL DBs knowledge
• Experience in building and optimizing data pipelines, ETLs, and streaming systems
• Cloud platform knowledge (AWS is preferred)
• Open-minded, eager to learn and flexible personality
• Fluent English

Nice-to-have:

• Solid experience with Hadoop and Kafka
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with Git, Gitlab, Grafana, InfluxDB, Kibana
• Academic degree in CS / SE

Scope of work:

• End-to-end development and ownership, from design to production, with a strong emphasis on innovation and efficiency
• You will lead and mentor other developers through complex projects that will affect our core business
• Take part in building & designing the next generation of company data solutions
• Implement high scale Big-Data solutions and contribute to our platform infrastructure and architecture
• Research core technologies and integrations with external APIs and services
• Working with various stakeholders: Product, Engineering, Data providers etc.
