— IT management and troubleshooting for Windows Server, Active Directory, domain, SCCM (windows system center configuration manager) orchestration,
— Experience with SQL Server management, Powershell scripting.
— Ability to execute a test plan
— Good communication English skills — both writing and face-to-face with customer

You will cooperate with the experienced team of Ericsson engineers from the USA and Europe
Participate in the development of the complex high-load system for IPTV and media distribution.
The client will conduct training sessions for the team.

Ericsson has the new version of the platform completed. Ericsson also has created the tools and procedures for the migration process, for the most part.
They want to set up a team of engineers who could
• help with finalizing the upgrade procedure and tools/scripts
• test the upgrade process in various configurations
• (3-4 members from the team) assist with actual deployment of the upgrades to the customers by
o supervising the migration process o running acceptance tests
o delivering trainings to the customers onside

Akvelon on behalf of Ericsson invites ambitious DevOps Engineers to work with the Mediaroom project.

The customers are IPTV subscription providers (MVPD), there are around 90 operators in around 34 countries delivering services to approx. 16 million households via around 30 million devices. It is a collection of software for operators to deliver IPTV subscription services, including content-protected, live, digital video recorder, video on demand, multiscreen, and applications.

Ericsson wants to migrate existing Mediaroom 2.x customers to the new version of the platform (3.x). The migration requires an installation of the new hardware to the customers’ datacenters as well as software updates to the OTT boxes with different revisions of the hardware.
