Lead Ruby or Senior Developer who wants to become a Lead (вакансія неактивна)

Akvelon is looking for Lead Ruby or Senior Developer who wants to become a Lead. Full-time work, 100% remotely (or office of your choice).
We are considering candidates from Ukraine and other countries (at least 3 hours overlap with US East Coast business hours)

Project is the global leader in Contract Automation and Intelligence for private asset management firms. The platform combines AI-enabled software with a worldwide network of highly trained lawyers to modernize recurring legal workflows. Client’s solutions improve all aspects of the contract lifecycle — from negotiating and processing routine contracts to tracking obligations in complex agreements.

Our current goal is to extend customer engineering teams and help with project tests coverage, code optimization and accomplish some migrations.

Responsibilities:
✔ Communicate with project stakeholders to clarify requirements, priorities, architecture
✔ Resolve technical issues
✔ Participate in code refactoring, migrations and project test coverage
✔ Accomplish code reviews
✔ Mentor engineers on the team
✔ Coordinating continuous refactoring and performance optimization
Working conditions — At least 3 hours overlap with US East Coast business hours

What should you have?
• Deep knowledge of Ruby and Ruby on Rails (RoR)
• 5+ years of professional experience building web applications with RoR
• Deep knowledge of Ruby testing approaches
• Experienced with Unit tests
• Able to operate (maintain and refactor) with existing code
• Accustomed to code profiling and debugging
• Excellent communication skills
• Team leadership skills
• At least Intermediate English
• Able to work effectively under schedule pressure to fix bugs, review code, cover applications with tests
