We do everything: we produce physical devices (the system includes many different sensors and hubs), develop firmware for them, develop the server part and release mobile applications.

ABOUT JOB OPENING:

This is an opportunity to lead a QA team working on a mobile/desktop app and backend. The task of the team is to change the existing architecture. Your goal will be tasked with building the process in the new team, dealing with backward compatibility, non functional testing, complex technical tasks and challenges.

YOUR MISSION:

• QA process management
• Plan the work and priorities for the QA team split into three subteams
• Mentoring and supervising of QA Team
• Track QA team members’ efficiency
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, and Support teams
• Take part in release preparations (planning, re-testing, regression testing, post-deploy support)
• Provide clear reporting of testing progress and results
• Practical participation in the preparation of test documentation at all levels (both writing and control).

PERSONAL & PROFESSIONAL SKILLS:

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend testing
• Excellent knowledge of QA methodologies and process management skills
• Understanding of mobile testing and delivery
• Strong understanding of backend testing (API testing, performance testing)
• Ability to prioritize and decompose;
• Understanding of JSON;
• Working with Postman;
• Database testing;
• Well knowledge of SQL;
• Issue root causes investigation using system logs;
• Knowledge of networks.

NICE TO HAVE:

• Experience with any part of the tech stack: gRPC, kotlin, Mongo DB, Redis, iOS & Android native, Python
