As the Head of Design, you will have the opportunity to implement the design management best practices and metrics into the teams’ performance. Deliver your vision and new ideas to help drive the Graphic, Web, 3D, and Digital Design teams forward (10+ people, and we’re still growing).

Your main focuses

You’ll work side by side with our Art Director and be responsible for the creative production and management, helping shape the design teams’ processes and approaches. Acting as a coach & leader you’ll ensure team members are supported in their growth and development.

As the Head of Design, you will have the opportunity to implement the design management best practices and metrics into the teams’ performance. Deliver your vision and new ideas to help drive the Graphic, Web, 3D, and Digital Design teams forward (10+ people, and we’re still growing).

Head of Design will have the following key responsibilities:
— Together with the Art Director, play a key leadership role in creating the vision, implementing best design practices, and setting the output standard across your team.
— Bringing the team together so they have a shared vision and purpose.
— Hiring, onboarding and retaining designers joining the team.
— Developing and establishing processes to optimise the design process and avoiding the need for reworks.
— To be responsible for all aspects of design tasks, from contact with clients to approving results.
— Work closely with in-house agency teams and the marketing department in Ukraine and abroad to ensure design intent and design expectations are met.
— Ensuring quality is maintained throughout the design lifecycle, in its entirety, while delivering solutions on time.
— Managing the day-to-day activities within the design teams.
— Reporting on design team performance at management meetings
— Maintain a careful balance between task performance and team management.

Core Requirements:
— Experience in both design and project management.
— Strong management and leadership qualities.
— Strong organisation and communication skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise across multiple projects.
— Have experience building & scaling design teams.
— Experience working with clients and carrying out design reviews.
— Experience in both design and project management.
— Solid foundational visual design skills — e.g., typography, layout, color, information hierarchy and design systems.
— Keen to follow the latest design trends in visual, digital, graphic, 2D and 3D design.
— Fluent in Adobe Creative Cloud or equivalent, Figma
— Have experience working on B2B products/projects.

— You have a strong CV & portfolio that outlines your work & key successes as a Design Leader.
— Have 3+ years of experience as a design manager, leading & mentoring designers.
