Pre-sales Engineer (English)

Ajax Systems is a developer and manufacturer of Ajax wireless security systems with smart home capabilities. We are a full-cycle company, from idea generation and development to mass production. There are more than 50 devices in the Ajax line: they protect the premises from robbery, fire, flooding and provide an opportunity to control electrical appliances. Every year, we show multiple growths both in the number of teams and in all users worldwide. The production of Ajax Systems includes two plants located in Ukraine. We also have three R&D offices: in Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Vinnytsia. Local sales teams are located in Great Britain, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Poland, Norway, Romania, Turkey, UAE, and South Africa.

The business direction consists of 14 departments. The position is part of the pre-sales department.

Pre-sales is a team responsible for technical support of existing, new, and future B2B clients, who explain all the technical nuances of sensors, protocols, and hubs. And with the release of new products, the team conducts training seminars for partners worldwide.

Main duties:

• Conducting technical seminars, exhibitions, presentations, and webinars (for company employees and customers);
• Market research and competitor analysis;
• Technical consultations and support of key accounts;
• Collecting customer requirements and identifying potential problems with the product implementation. Preparing proposals according to the conducted analysis;
• Cooperation with the sales and R&D teams;
• Conducting communications and long-term relations with the company’s key partners.

Key requirements:

• Technical background;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills;
• Experience in public speaking (as an advantage);
• Willingness to travel abroad;
• As an advantage — experience in installation and assembly/design of video surveillance systems, fire alarms or other security systems;
• Knowledge of English at least the Upper-Intermediate level is mandatory.
