airSlate welcomes talented professionals to join our team as Staff Software Engineer.

airSlate is a document workflow automation platform that empowers anyone to create stunning documents and automate document workflows using a single platform. Our platform scales to fit anyone’s needs from simple tasks like editing pdfs and creating forms to eSigning documents and automating workflows. airSlate is everything you need to get your documents done.

You will do:

    • Participate in discussions, decomposition, evaluation, estimation, and planning of initiatives.
    • Code writing and features implementation.
    • Delivery ownership.
    • Infrastructure cost calculation and architectural design.
    • Collaboration with the unit members and other units/departments to deliver features.
    • Take active participation in product incidents, research problems and report improvements.
    • Be responsible for technical metrics.
    • Conduct hiring interviews and colleagues mentorship.
    • Unit technical strategy development and participation in product strategy implementation.
    • Writing tech documentation.

Required experience and skills:

    • 5+ years of relevant work experience in software development and knowledge at least two different programming languages.
    • Must have experience with Node.js, MySQL, NoSQL, Typescript.
    • Good understanding of algorithms and data structures.
    • Development flows, CI/CD pipelines, Github Actions.
    • Deep understanding of SOA principles and Web Services technologies (REST, GraphQL).
    • Test pyramid knowledge, experience writing unit tests.
    • Experience with AWS, Kubernetes and Docker.
    • Experience with Event Bus, e.g. RabbitMQ or Kafka.
    • Experience in software architecture design.
    • Ability to understand business requirements (functional and non-functional) and translate those into technical solutions.
    • Experience in working with heavy-load projects.
    • Experience in microservice architecture and its patterns.
    • SDLC and Agile methodologies knowledge.
    • Excellent knowledge of monitoring, logging, profiling, debugging and tracing systems.

Nice to have:

    • PHP/Go knowledge.
    • Experience in GRPC.
