We are a passionate and ambitious team of 120+ people on a mission to succeed with our online PDF creator and editor — pdfFiller.

And now, we are looking for a BackEnd Tech Lead who is prepared to contribute to the next chapter of our company’s growth.
A team waiting for a backend leader is one of the largest product teams in the company, with excellent delivery scores and well-aligned internal processes. Due to the team’s overall strategy and move to microservices, we lack a strong technical backend lead to add expertise to the team. There is an opportunity to design a system from scratch and develop several of the current working services.

What you’ll be working on:

• make our product even more awesome
• help plan for the future and conquer any challenges with technical solutions
• innovate, improve, and be a driving force for change
• make our code faster than a speeding bullet

What we expect from you:

• tech lead experience more than 1 year
• practical examples of software architecture design
• experience programming in PHP (Go,Node.js) for more than 3 years
• experience in design and optimization with relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL)
• good experience with RabbitMQ
• good experience with Docker, GitHub actions, Kubernetes
• understanding of SDLC principles
• experience with AWS
• ability to assess the complexity of the task and to decompose it
• smart analyze and prioritize tasks

What helps you rock:

• experience in writing unit tests to check the quality of code
• experience with data monitoring and analysis systems such as Grafana and Kibana
• experience in optimizing web applications
• product thinking
