Job Description:

We are looking for Senior Automation QA engineer who will play a key senior role on our new QA team, architecting and implementing the UI and API java-based testing frameworks. As well as QA processes continuous improvement, QA analysis, and manual QA tasks. Even for the SDET-grade roles, we are avoiding automation-only-engineers because we need a good and clear understanding of business aims as well as neat and well-documented codebase.

You will be expected to:

• Lead the build out of automated testing capabilities with existing continuous integration practices
• Create test plans and test cases for assigned component/feature in coordination with Product Owners and Development Team
• Execute test cases and perform defect tracking and management;
• Contribute in building JS unit tests;
• Work autonomously demonstrating initiative and common sense
• Participate in design and reviews
• Communicate with peers to address technical roadblocks
• Focus on strong teamwork within teams and remote team members according to business alignment
• Have an inquiring mind with the ability to research, question and think outside the box

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of work experience in software quality assurance
• Automation frameworks development using Cucumber, Java|Groovy, Maven|Gradle, TestNG
• Deep understanding of CI/CD practices and tools
• Good knowledge of Core Java
• Experience in Integration and E2E testing
• Root cause analysis
• Code coverage analysis
• Knowledge of SQL
• Linux operational proficiency

Would be a plus:

• Experience working in a FinTech company
• Experience in security testing
• JS unit testing experience: Jasmine, Jest, Mocha, AVA, Tape, etc
• Advanced-level ISTQB cert
• OCA Java
