We are looking for someone that knows how to create and maintain beautiful, dynamic and responsive web applications. Our current project is porting our existing web application (backed by the Play! Framework for Scala) from Angular 1.5 to 7.

All you need is:
● Expert level with HTML/CSS/JS;
● Production experience with the Angular (1.x nice to have, 4+ expertise);
● Experience as a self-directed engineer and work as part of a team;
● Intellectual honesty;
● Ability to express technical concepts to a non-technical audience;
● To have excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills;
● Understanding of the trade-off between purity of code and the practicality of business, that is, you are willing to make reasonable compromises to satisfy business objectives;
● Ability to context switch during the day.

● Experience with Scala or other strongly-typed server technologies;
● Experience with work on a SCRUM team;
● Knowledge of Unix;
● Public examples of projects you’ve completed;
● Published technically relevant articles, blog posts or books.

● Plan and architect new features, and break larger features into tasks;
● Efficiently work and collaborate with the rest of the distributed engineering team.

● Closely work with the VP of Software Development and product team to evaluate specifications and technologies, discussing and planning application strategy.
