AgileEngine is looking for a Lead Automation QA Engineer who will be responsible for the quality assurance across different projects/initiatives within the InTrack platform development. Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of QA best practices, and a passion for quality.
What do you need to know?
● 7+ years of experience working in the Quality Assurance
● Previous experience of successful set up of the QA infrastructure on the project
● Experience in Web, REST API and UI testing
● Experience with Java automation and Selenium (4+ years)
● Experience of working with Java, JavaScript, Mobile Apps development
● Understanding of OOP
● Experience in one/more of the following — SQL, API gateways, Kubernetes, microservices, API load testing, performance testing, Analytics
● Team Leadership experience
● Excellent presentation and communication skills combined with the ability to work in a distributed team environment
What will you do?
● Lead the QA set up initiative across different Intrack projects
● Lead a team of 4 QA/AQA engineers
● Write front-end automated tests
● Write REST automated tests
● Define, modify and execute test plans and regression strategies
● Perform exploratory testing with an automation first mindset
● Perform application testing to ensure program changes are functional and are in compliance with established standards
● Document software issues and enhancement requests and assist development with concise and detailed steps for the defects found while performing manual functional, integration, and regression tests
● Progressively enhance continuous integration using tools like Jenkins and Gitlab
● Work with all functions to improve overall development and test processes
● Build functional and regression automation test suites
● Perform load and scale testing
● Close communication with Test Manager from the client side

Our client represented by the department Logistics Innovation & IT-Process Integration — Interlogistics Eco System (GS/LOI11) of Global Services is responsible for development and roll-out of the InTrack platform. Development has been carried out in the last two years in strong collaboration with academic partners as the FZI (Karlsruhe), internal and external developers.
Main purpose of the InTrack Platform (also referred as InTrack Web + Apps) is the digitization, optimization and standardization of internal and external logistic processes as e.g. dispatch at supplier and delivery of goods from suppliers via distribution centers
