We are seeking a motivated student/junior-level PHP Developer with good HTML/CSS skills to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, enjoys working on interesting projects, and is eager to learn and develop their skills. Although no commercial experience is required, we expect you to have some pet projects which reflect your skills and interest in web development.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining and improving our existing PHP projects.
- Create new PHP projects from scratch under guidance from senior developers.
- Collaborate with team members to understand requirements and propose solutions.
- Debug and fix issues reported in the PHP projects.
- Take care of front-end development tasks.
- Ensure performance optimization of applications.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest PHP and Frontend technologies and best practices.
Requirements:
- Currently studying or recently completed a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Knowledge of PHP and at least one frontend framework (React, Vue.js, Angular, etc.).
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment).
- Basic DevOps skills including understanding of deployment processes and server maintenance.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Proven ability to work on pet projects, to learn and apply new technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with PHP frameworks like Laravel or Symfony.
- Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Basic knowledge of containerization tools like Docker.
