It addresses the growing complexity of modern cyber threats by simplifying security operations and reducing false positives.

The platform is deployed on hundreds of thousands to millions of Windows endpoints worldwide, handling high volumes of system logs, real-time events, and multithreaded processes across OS internals. Key challenges include maintaining low-latency performance, deep integration with Windows OS internals, and delivering consistently high detection and protection rates under production-scale loads.

About the Role:

You will join a focused Windows engineering team as a core contributor to the endpoint detection and response (EDR) agent.

You will own the full lifecycle of critical features: from initial design and architecture through hands-on implementation, performance tuning, testing, and production integration.

Your contributions will include designing and implementing low-level services, drivers, and user-mode components, collaborating closely with security researchers and the product team to introduce advanced detection and protection capabilities.

You will troubleshoot complex customer escalations, perform kernel- and user-mode debugging, and continuously improve the agent’s performance and stability.

This role offers high autonomy, direct impact on a product deployed at massive scale, and collaboration with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, agile R&D environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement user-mode services and low-level components for the Windows EDR agent
• Develop multithreaded applications with thread synchronization and real-time constraints
• Collaborate with security researchers to translate detection rules into code
• Own feature lifecycle: design, coding, performance tuning, and integration
• Debug escalated customer issues, analyze logs, and perform remote debugging sessions
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to OOP and clean coding principles
• Write and maintain unit tests and automation scripts within the existing framework
• Optimize memory management, I/O performance, and resource usage for large-scale deployments
• Participate in sprint planning, PI design sessions, and architectural discussions

Required Competence and Skills:

• 4+ years of experience in C++ development on Windows (modern C++17/20/23 — an advantage)
• Deep understanding of Windows OS internals and Windows API
• Proven experience with multithreaded programming, synchronization, and real-time constraints
• Strong software design, OOP, and clean coding practices
• Expertise in memory management and I/O performance optimization
• Proficient debugging skills, including remote debugging and log analysis
• Familiarity with smart pointers (shared_ptr, unique_ptr) and move semantics
• Experience writing unit tests and integrating automation tests

Nice to Have:

• Kernel-mode development experience
• Background in reverse engineering or malware analysis
• Prior experience in security-oriented software development
