Android Developer

We are rapidly expanding venture-backed startup and are seeking an Android Developer to join our software agent team. We are in seach for someone with substantial experience and a strong grasp of networking and security concepts.

Within our Research and Development (R&D) division, your role will be instrumental as you collaborate with a driven Android team. Furthermore, you’ll be a key player within our software group, overseeing the development of diverse agents catered to both desktop and mobile devices.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable and secure agents on the Android platform
• Research and POC new technologies
• Work with developers from other agent teams and with backend teams
• Review and train junior employees with their designs
• Initiate and innovate to promote business needs

Requirements

• Computer Science degree or equivalent
• Experience in Android development in Java/Kotlin
• Solid understanding of the Android framework SDK
• Knowledge of Android architecture components
• Knowledge of Android design guidelines
• Experience with Retrofit, OkHTTP3, RxJava, RxAndroid, coroutines
• Experience with network protocols — TCP/IP/HTTP/VPN, SSL bumping (an advantage)
• Good understanding of OOP and design patterns
• Proficient in English
