We are a fabless semiconductor company devoted to vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communications for manned and autonomous vehicles. The company is privately held with strong financial backing. The company’s headquarters are in Israel with offices in North America, Germany, France, China, Japan, and Korea, with R&D centers in Israel and Ukraine.

Our products consist of hardware (chips) and software providing services including communication over multiple technologies (802.11, 4G, 5G), security and cryptography, In-Vehicle-Network, and others.

We are looking for a Real-Time Embedded Firmware Engineer to join our DSP team. Working in a hybrid model: from our office in Kyiv, from home, or from our remote office in Lviv. You will play a major role in developing Autotalks next-generation automotive-grade multi-standard (including 5G NR) chipset.

About the role

In this position, you will develop innovative wireless communication modems while gaining experience in embedded architecture, external interfaces, and product constraints along with the ability to develop architecture/features that meet these constraints while providing new value for the platform.

Your day-to-day will include end-to-end responsibility for FW architecture design and implementation of various modem blocks and flows while working closely with Algorithms, Architecture, and System teams.

Requirements

• At least 3 years in embedded C programming
• Good level of English
• PHY/MAC programming experience
• DSP programming experience — advantage
• Assembler programming — advantage
• CEVA DSP experience — advantage
• Knowledge in NR/LTE/WiFi PHY/MAC — advantage
• MATLAB knowledge — advantage
• Highly motivated — quick learner
• Team player
• BSc / MSc in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science from a known university Strong background in the fields of signal processing and wireless communication
