About the role:

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with a strong foundation in AWS cloud technologies to join our team. You will play a critical role in optimizing and scaling our infrastructure to ensure seamless deployment, monitoring, and operation of our applications. The ideal candidate is experienced with cloud infrastructure management, automation tools, and understands best practices in CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS to support scalable and reliable applications.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient software delivery and deployment.
• Collaborate closely with development and operations teams to improve system performance, reliability, and security.
• Implement automation processes for infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and application deployment.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, troubleshooting issues as they arise and implementing long-term solutions.
• Maintain and enhance infrastructure as code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Ensure security best practices are followed across infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
• Support and manage container orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Conduct regular system and application monitoring, alerting, and reporting to meet operational and performance KPIs.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering, with a focus on AWS.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, and IAM.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Shell for automation tasks.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals and security best practices in cloud environments.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or ELK stack.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
