Requirements:
- Experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in database application development;
- Practical experience in data modeling and writing the stored code;
- Practical experience in the performance tuning of database servers;
- Experience with Python, bash script;
- Good written and spoken English (Upper-Intermediate).
Will be a plus:
- Experience with databases: SQL Server, MySQL;
- Experience with DWH, BI, ETL systems;
- Experience with AWS cloud;
- Experience in administering database servers and operating systems (Windows, Linux).
Responsibilities:
- Tasks of the migration of database objects, code, auxiliary scripts and data from Oracle to PostgreSQL (+ RDS, Aurora);
- Performance tuning of migrated applications on the PostgreSQL;
- Participation in the development of products/tools for working with different DBs
