Required skills:

• 2+ years of technical support experience;
• 3+ years of System Administrator experience;
• Advanced Windows and basic Linux administration experience;
• Experience with VMware vSphere 6+ and Hyper-V;
• Basic experience with SQL: MSSQL;
• Strong networking administration skills, OSI and TCP/IP model, VPN tunnels;
• Strong exptertise of Bash and PowerShell. Knowledge of Python, Ruby, or Golang is advantage;
• Experience with monitoring systems: WhatsUp Gold, Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, etc.

Will be a plus:

• SonicWall firewall configuration experience;
• WhatsUp Gold administration experience;
• Rapid 7 and OSSEC administration experience;
• IaC and Provisioning: experience with Ansible. Chef and Puppet is advantage;
• Capabilities of organizing working schedule and tasks execution roadmap;
• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to deliver on time;
• Clean, clear, friendly, and professional communication;
• Advanced English (written and verbal). At least Upper-intermediate;
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science.

Responsibilities:

• Drive and develop customer-facing communication;
• Clarify customer’s expectations and make commitments towards the expectations and meet customer’s expectations and given commitments;
• Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide solutions;
• Refactoring, optimization and automation of on-permise infrastructure;
• Setting up servers, instances, environments on-premise and in the VMware;
• Creation of scripts / functions for setting up servers, instances, environments using configuration management tools to automate processes;
• Automation of regular tasks (backup and the others).

Project description

ABCloudz is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to build and maintain products using cloud services. You will be responsible for taking care of continuous integration and continuous delivery of various projects. Your core tasks will include the development of infrastructure for new projects and modernization of the existing procedures with the latest DevOps tools.

We are looking for a new team member with strong experience with Linux, Mac, and Windows operating systems. Also, we will rely on your experience with leveraging Docker containers. Moreover, you have to be very knowledgeable in patterns for infrastructure services, high availability and disaster recovery solutions, and scalable web architectures. Finally, your deep expertise with the cloud and strong network administration skills will make you a perfect match for the position.
